The weekend of November 14, 2014 is definitely looking like a great time to hit up your local movie theaters! In order to catch up on films with this Friday as their release date, we're excited to share the following trailers with you: Foxcatcher, Dumb And Dumber To, Rosewater and more. Check out some previews below!
Foxcatcher, the upcoming film from director Bennett Miller, paints a devastating picture of hopes, dreams, glory and also real-life horror. This movie stars Steve Carell as the infamous John du Pont, taking a young wrestler, Mark Schultz, played by Channing Tatum under his wing and into Olympic training. Things go terribly wrong when du Pont realizes he can't control Mark, especially with his successful brother Dave (Mark Ruffalo). Check out a trailer for the film right here:
What's there left to say about Dumb and Dumber To? The reunion of Jim Carey, Jeff Daniels and the Farrelly Bros. is easily one of the most anticipated sequels of the past few years, so let's just take this time to enjoy a trailer before heading out to theaters to see the movie!
Last summer, Jon Stewart took a leave of absence from his The Daily Show hosting duties to write and direct his first feature film, Rosewater. The political drama stars Gael Garcia Bernal as Maziar Bahari, who was kidnapped, held captive and tortured in 2009 in Iran. Seeing this powerful story come to life on the big screen is definitely reason enough to head out the theaters this weekend. Watch a trailer for this film right here:
Katie Holmes' latest film, Miss Meadows, looks like a career-turn for the better for the ex-wife of Tom Cruise. Portraying an seemingly innocent young woman who has a dark, murderous side has us falling in love with her all over again. Watch a trailer for Miss Meadows right here:
