Both The Blacklist and Revenge have announced new casting updates. The NBC drama landed a new bad guy for the season two Super Bowl episode, while ABC's Hampton drama added another villain to its twisted cast. Both guest stars are actors from the FX series Sons of Anarchy.
The Blacklist had its midseason finale on Monday, Nov. 10 and won't return until Feb. 1, and with its latest guest star Ron Perlman joining the series, we have even more to look forward to when the show returns after the Super Bowl.
TV Guide exclusively reported that the Sons of Anarchy actor, who plays Clarence "Clay" Morrow on the FX series, would be joining the hit drama and with him more anarchy will follow. "Perlman will appear as Luther Braxton, a meticulous thief who plans his international heists over the course of several months or years. The ruthless baddie creates great diversions and chaos to get what he wants — that is, until he faces off with Red Reddington," TV Guide explained.
The hit NBC series stars James Spader as Red Reddington, Megan Boone as Elizabeth Keen, Diego Klattenhoff as Donald Ressler and Harry Lennix as Harold Cooper.
As for ABC's hit series Revenge, they have landed another Sons of Anarchy star to play an evil character in season four. Tommy Flanagan, who plays Filip "Chibs" Telford on SOA, which ends its seven-year run in December, will be starring on the show as a recurring character.
"Flanagan will play the powerful and dangerous Malcolm Black, a high-functioning psychopath with a long memory for those who have crossed him. Self-made, cold and calculating, he is relentless when it comes to protecting both his family and his fortune," TV Line exclusively reported.
Tommy will make his first appearance on the shows midseason premiere in 2015. Revenge currently stars Emily VanCamp as Emily Thorne, Madeleine Stowe as Victoria Grayson, Gabriel Mann as Nolan Ross, Nick Wechsler as Jack Porter and James Tupper as David Clarke.
