Chris Eubank Jnr is no stranger to the boxing world. Being the son of the legendary Chris Eubank, it was always likely that he would step into the ring eventually. Roll the clock forward, and you'll see his father spurring him on as he trains, putting rounds in the bank, hoping to go and finish and add to the boxing legacy his father worked so hard to build. The pair both have the "you don't have to like me, but you must respect me" kind of attitude, and although some love it, many don't. However, the Eubanks have moved to explain themselves, and they've revealed their plans to dominate the boxing world.
Eubank Jnr explained: "I'm willing to die to defend my record. When I say I am willing to die, I mean if I feel like something is wrong or I'm in a type of pain that no one can describe, I am not going to stop."
His father added: "You know, I thought I don't want those comments. But actually I do. Because that is how serious this business is. The readers of your newspaper need to know what kind of man will be representing the United Kingdom in the ring."
Could Eubank's son add to his legacy? Perhaps so, but missing press conferences and annoying fans, press and much more, is not the way to go about it. However, next up for him is Billy Joe Saunders, who he will fight for the European, Commonwealth and British middleweight titles. If he wins this match, then the British and world boxing fans, will have to take notice of him.
Could Eubank Jnr better his father's legacy, or will he make his own very unique boxing story?
