Mark Sanchez, the current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, was given the chance to relive his most infamous moment - the Butt Fumble - in a sit down with Erin Andrews on Sunday, prior to the Eagles game against the Green Bay Packers.
In the interview Sanchez explains just how he felt about the Butt Fumble, which came in a 2012 Thanksgiving game against the New England Patriots when he was the starting quarterback for the New York Jets.
"I ran into a guy's butt on national TV. What's the worst that could happen, really? C'mon." Sanchez said.
As for whether he believes that the Butt Fumble is how Jets fans will always remember him, Sanchez is sanguine, saying "I dunno. Some of them, probably."

To add insult to injury, though, as for how Sanchez felt at the time of the Butt Fumble, he says it wasn't just the running into the butt that was the problem, it was what the other team were subsequently able to do. "It was horrible," he told Andrews. "Not just like embarrassing horrible, but they scooped and scored, we were already betting beat, it just added insult to injury. That sucked."
Sanchez also talks about his exit from New York, saying that it was tough, and that "It's a lot of heart break I guess... you want it all to work." So far in his two starts with his new team while Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is injured, Sanchez is 1-1.
Today ESPN's Skip Bayless piled on to Sanchez, tweeting out that the Philly quarterback is "the NFC's biggest accident waiting to happen".
Mark Sanchez has now replaced Tony Romo as NFC E's biggest Accident Waiting to Happen.

Meanwhile Philadelphia wide receiver Jeremy Maclin said that the Eagles were so bad against the Packers on Sunday that even the 0-10 Raiders - who haven't won a game for a calendar year - could've beaten them, reports CSN Philly.
"It's the National Football League, man. The way we played today, it wouldn't matter if we played Oakland, who hasn't won a game yet -- they would have beat the hell out of us, too," Maclin said. "We just didn't play well.
"No disrespect to Green Bay. Great football team. They played great today. But the way we played today, we wouldn't have beaten anybody."
It could always be worse, though Jeremy. At least Sanchez didn't run the ball into anybody's butt, right?
