Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has been going through money problems ever since she pleaded guilty to charges of bankruptcy and mortgage fraud. Now her daughter, Gia Giudice, has taken to Kickstarter to raise money for a new music video for her girl group 3KT.
On their Kickstarter page, it says that the group needs $7500 to fund the video. They've only raise $155 so far from four backers. With 23 days to go to fulfill their goal, do you think they'll make the total in time?
The girls captioned their page, "3KT loves our fans! We want to give you an awesome original Christmas music video in time for the holiday! Join us! <3 Gia Lex Lil Cee."
Under the caption, they elaborated on their goal, saying, "WE LOVE OUR FANS! We are still so overwhelmed by the buzz and support over our first music video cover "Circus" (originally by Britney Spears WHO WE ADORE!). So many of you had amazing words of support for us on our new journey. We were born to perform and entertain, and we are so lucky to be able to do this in such a big way. We want to empower and inspire other young performers to FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND NEVER GIVE UP!"
The group is even offering walk-on roles and producer credits depending on how much you pledge.
As MStars News reported, the group's first video caused major controversy for a myriad of reasons. Many complained that for young teens, the costumes and their dance moves were too sexy.
On top of that, Teresa shelled out $10,000 to pay for the video even though she was just sentenced to 15 months in prison. The reality family is supposedly struggling to get by (especially with $200,000 in restitution that stills needs to be paid to the government following the sentencing).
Do you think the girls should be asking the public for money?
