MTV Diem Brown, Chris "CT" Tamburello Relationship: Was 'Real World/Road Rules Challenge' Pair Together Before She Died?

MTV fans are still mourning the passing of Real World/Road Rules Challenge star Diem Brown after a long battle with cancer. Her relationship with Chris "CT" Tamburello was documented for years in front of the reality show cameras, but now we can tell you if the two were together before she died.

According to People, Diem was not in a relationship with CT before her passing, but the two still remained close.

"Diem had such a big heart that she had room to love a lot of people, and he was one of them," E! correspondent and friend Alicia Quarles said.

Rumors have swirled about the two since her passing, but the mag says he was not in the room when she died, nor were they engaged.

However, he did attend her funeral as did many of her MTV castmates along with family and friends. Trisha Yearwood sang an emotional tribute for the reality star that had many in tears.

As MStars News reported, CT posted a touching tribute of his own on his Instagram. In a caption with a photo of Diem's face next to some rosary beads and a ring, he wrote, "You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We've been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other.

"Our plan to be together forever hasn't changed...it's just going to take a little longer now," he continued. "And I'm going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don't worry mama, I'm not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever."
