This week has been a big week for TV casting news. We have rounded up the top three men cast in some of our favorite series just for you.
For starters, Veep has landed another leading man for its fourth season. Plus, Orphan Black is getting a new face while one of Mad Men's stars will be coming back for the final season of Parks and Recreation.
House alum Hugh Laurie is making his way back to television and starring in the fourth season of Veep. E! News initially reported the news that Hugh would be joining the comedic styling of Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the HBO comedy. The nature of the character he'll play in the political comedy has yet to be announced.
In other casting news, Orphan Black is adding Shameless star Justin Chatwin to its Season 3 cast. The Showtime series, which follows Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) as she's pulled into a conspiracy after witnessing the suicide of a girl who looks like her, announced the latest casting on its official Twitter page.
"Chilly evening @OrphanBlack with @JohnFawcett75 and @justingchatwin #cloneclub," Grame Manson, the co-creator of the series, tweeted Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The Orphan Black Twitter page wrote, "Attention #CloneClub: Thrilled to announce @Justinchatwin is joining the cast of #OrphanBlack! Welcome to the trip, Justin."
Meanwhile, with Parks and Recreation's seventh and final season, beginning in 2015, casting news is starting to come out. One of the most exciting actors returning for the final season is Mad Men's Jon Hamm. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jon will be reappearing in Pawnee for one episode in the last season.
"If I have my way, every episode where you see events that take place before that moment will include a shot of him doing something insanely incompetent," showrunner Mike Schur told the publication about the possible return of Jon's character Ed.
TV Line previously reported that Ben Schwartz, who plays Jean-Ralphio, and Megan Mullally, who plays Tammy Swanson, would also be returning for guest-starring roles in the final Parks season.
