'Sons Of Anarchy' Season 7 Recap: Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller Causes 3 Bloody Deaths In "Red Rose!"

With only one episode left before series finale, the final ride comes to a screeching halt in the penultimate episode of Sons of Anarchy on FX. Knowing who really killed his wife Tara, Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is involved in three deaths as he tries to get his hands on Gemma Teller (Katey Sagal) in 'Red Rose.'

The Mayans, One-Niners, and SAMCRO are at a meeting, discussing who holds which territory and gets the guns. The One-Niners need a favor from Jax and his club before they help get this deal made. Jax confronts the leaders of the charter, (including Robert Patrick and wrestler Goldberg), admitting he was wrong about Jury's death. Jury wasn't the rat and he has to face the consequences for that. There is still one thing Jax asks in return from the charter members. 

At the prison, Juice (Theo Rossi) is confronted by Henry Lin's crew. For killing their boss, they want Juice to kill Ron in return. With a knife held to his throat, Juice is gang-raped by Lin's men. 

After getting a ride from Milo (Michael Chiklis), Gemma makes a stop at her father's retirement home. While Gemma talks to the receptionist (Charisma Carpenter), Wendy Case (Drea De Matteo) accidentally reveals to Jax and Nero where she might be heading. 

Nero finally finds Unser and tells him he has to get to Gemma first. This is about saving Jax from what he is about to do. Racing to find Gemma, Unser speeds his way across the highway as Jax rides down the motorcycle. 

At the prison, Juice confronts Ron Tully (Marilyn Manson) about what Lin's boys did to him. Juice doesn't want to kill Ron for Lin's crew and gives up his blade. Fulfilling Jax's agreement, Ron starts a prison riot as a distraction and then stabs Juice repeatedly, marking him the first death. 

Gemma finally meets with her father, who doesn't remember her. Apologizing for being a horrible daughter, Gemma tells him that he did his best as a father and husband. Before she goes,her father remembers she loved the garden at her home. 

Unser and Jax arrive at the same time at Gemma's place. Fighting for Gemma, the two men suddenly find themselves in a standoff. In the second death, Jax makes the decision to shoot first and kills Unser with a bullet to the chest. 

Jax and Gemma walk out to the garden full of white flowers, which is her death row. Jax hesitates pulling the trigger and aims the barrel down. Gemma tells her son that it's okay, she wants to die, which allows Jax to shoot her in the head.

While SAMCRO and One-Niners are taking out the competition, Jax arrives home and sees Wendy, who notices he's not okay. Jax and Wendy end in bed together, having intense sex. Nero sits on his bed, with tears n his eyes, knowing Gemma is truly gone. 

Gemma, Unser, and Juice died in the second-to-last episode of Sons of Anarchy. Readers, what did you think of Red Rose?
