During the 2014 Game Awards over the weekend in Las Vegas, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima might have leaked the release date of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. What started off as a great announcement of the online multiplayer inclusion in the upcoming 2015 game, ended up started quite the reaction online about an early summer release of the title. This all came from a Swedish message on the creator's shirt, so who knows if we can even confirm this news just yet! (SPOILERS to follow)

According to IGN and a whole bunch of Reddit users, Kojima was wearing a t-shirt that read "tjugoandra den sjätte", which is translates to "twenty-second and sixth" in Swedish. Gamers might remember that Kojima teased this new title a while back by creating a fake, Swedish development studio called "Moby Dick Studios." So having Swedish words on his shirt probably wasn't just a coincidence.
Should we just agree that a June 22, 2015 release date should be expected?
While we consider this interesting t-shirt message, we can also get excited about the multiplayer mode coming to this gaming franchise!
The first trailer for this game mode premiered this weekend, with the footage opening up on a skin-swapping player, surrounded by others about to head into battle. As the trailer continues, you get to see some great, tactical gameplay and explore what multiplayer can be like in this universe.
We get to see stealth takedowns, decoy toy dogs, and the Fulton system that launches your enemies into the air, suspended from a large balloon.
