Earlier this week, the release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was announced, but even more news for fans of the popular video game franchise was revealed soon after. When it hits shelves on Sept. 1, 2015, the latest Metal Gear Solid title will serve as the final chapter of the saga, according to series creator Hideo Kojima. During the 2014 Game Awards over the weekend in Las Vegas, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima might have leaked the release date of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. What started off as a great announcement of the online multiplayer inclusion in the upcoming 2015 game, ended up started quite the reaction online about an early summer release of the title.
