Looks like Sony Pictures has some more problems to deal with following that mass hacking that took place earlier this month. While the rest of the world is busy loving the hell out of Angelina Jolie, producer Scott Rudin just got found out for having said some not-so-nice things about the Unbroken director. Word has it that the Captain Phillips and Moneyball – which starred Jolie's husband Brad Pitt – producer once sent a email that called the Tomb Raider star a "minimally talented, spoiled brat" over Jolie's thoughts on having Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network director David Fincher direct a new film Rudin is producing called Jobs, based of course on Apple creator Steve Jobs. He later claimed she has a "spoiled ego." Oh boy. Brad's going to be pissssed...
It's being reported by TMZ that the name-calling and slams came about during the talks about Jobs. It seems the famed money-making producer sent an email to Sony Pictures' Co-Chairman Amy Pascal telling her not to listen to Jolie's "objection" to having Fincher direct Jobs. Obviously, Rudin is a producer on the film.
Rudin's email further stated, "She's a camp event and a celebrity and that's all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming."
TMZ further states that the email leak came from the very same people who hacked the Sony Pictures films, a group coining themselves the "Guardians of Peace." The group has threatened to continue their hacks and leaks unless the corporation pull the new Seth Rogen-James Franco-led film, The Interview. Yes, that one that involves Rogen and Franco heading over to North Korea to kill Kim Jong-un.
Readers, what are your thoughts on the slams against Jolie?
