Like mother, like daughter — hopefully without all the legal issues, though. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Gia Giudice is following in her mother Teresa's footsteps — at least when it comes to reality TV. The RHONJ star's daughter is making her foray to the forefront of the cameras, as she is gearing up to star in her own reality series. While many think this won't get off the ground, the series has actually already started filming, and is set to follow the rise of her girl band 3KT.
According to E! News, the cameras have already been documenting the girls's lives over the last couple months.
"It will be all about her group, 3KT," the insider explained to the news site. "They've been filming already for two months."
The theme of the series is set to be fun as the girls try to make their big break in the music industry.
"So far, the footage is really fun. Once the pilot is completed, they'll start shopping it to the networks," the insider explained. "All the girls's families are in it here and there. But it's not a show about the grownups — it's all about the girls. Everyone's very excited about it."
And it seems like the families are really supportive of the girls, as Teresa took to her Twitter account to post a picture from 3KT's show that was held at iPlay America Dec. 26.

The show seems like it was just what Teresa and her family needed to focus on, as her prison date draws closer.
"It gave everyone something happy and fun to focus on. It lifted their spirits," the source explained.
