Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, is getting ready for prison in a few days, but with all that is going on in her life, will the reality star be able to film before she is put behind bars?
According to Radar Online, the network did want the RHONJ star for the upcoming season of the hit reality show, but they balked when they heard her asking price.
"After all of the options were considered, Bravo did approach Teresa about filming prior to her heading off to prison with the intent of working her into the new season," a source told the tabloid site. "However, she was insisting she wanted an astronomical paycheck. Much to her surprise, they turned her down."
It has been a sharp decline for the once-celebrated Bravolebrity, who was sentenced to 15 months behind bars after pleading guilty to charges of mortgage and bankruptcy fraud. She will spend her time at the Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, which is the same prison that inspired the Netflix hit comedy series, Orange Is the New Black.
As MStars News reported, Teresa will be appearing for season seven of the reality show staple series with Bravo even waiting till she gets out of prison to start filming again.
"There is zero moving forward anytime soon for The Real Housewives of New Jersey," a source told the NY Daily News. "If we're doing a season seven, Teresa will be part of it. We would shoot it when she's out of jail."
If this happens to be the case, fans can expect their favorite show to begin airing well into 2016.
"The season for 'Housewives' is not consistent in the way that the other shows are, like 'OK, episode one is always Jan. 1' or whatever," the source said. "Real Housewives of New York missed an entire year before we brought it back. It's not that we have to do it within a certain amount of time. We do it when we know it's right and when we want to do it."
