'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Prison Aftermath: Kathy Wakile, Rosie Pierri Set For Bravo Reality Show Return After Appearing With Jacqueline Laurita?

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice's impending prison stay has put the hit Bravo reality show influx this year while producers figure out how to proceed with her absence. One major move could be bringing back past "Housewives" favorites to offset Teresa's time off. (Think Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierr.)

"Bravo is interested in bringing Kathy Wakile back to the franchise in a big way," a source told Radar Online. "When she appeared with Jacqueline [Laurita] last season, ratings went up."

With Teresa's cousin back in the mix, this would also set the stage for another fan favorite to return.

"In addition, fans will be pleased to know production is exploring the idea of bringing Kathy's sister, Rosie Pierri, on as a full time cast member," the source said. "Fans love Rosie and it would give a new twist to the show."

As MStars News reported, network producers have already begun trying to woo Caroline Manzo back to the staple reality series. She left to star in her spinoff, Manzo'd with Children, but a return to the show that made her famous would not be out of the question.

"Bravo has always liked Caroline," according to Radar. "They realize with Teresa gone they are going to have to do something to keep viewers intrigued, interested, and tuned in."

"Bravo wants to ensure the ratings for next season are strong," the source continued. "Caroline always brought Italian-Mom realness to the show, which viewers connected with. She also has a big fan base."

The network will have to work fast as Teresa is set to begin her 15-month prison sentence on January 5 after pleading guilty to charges of mortgage and bankruptcy fraud. She will serve her time at Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, which inspired the Netflix hit, Orange Is the New Black.
