The latest Celebrity Mean Tweets from Jimmy Kimmel Live - where celebrities read the meanest things the general public tweet about them - has been unleashed on the world. Better still, in honor of the College Football Championship game, it's a College Football Playoff Championship Edition of Mean Tweets. The segment aired on ESPN before the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Oregon Ducks, and featured appearances from college football mainstays, commentators and coaches including Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Mark May, Lou Holtz, Mark Helfrich, Heather Cox, Brady Hoke, Tim Tebow, Brian Kelly, Jesse Palmer, Jimbo Fisher, Chris Fowler, Scott Van Pelt, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit.

As Jimmy Kimmel says in the intro of the segment, "When it comes to mean comments, no fans compare to sports fans." And he's not wrong. As ABC report, it doesn't pull any punches.

Desmond Howard's moustache is slammed, Rece Davis is simply called a tool and invited to suck on a muffler, while Mark May can expect a very hazardous package in the mail (hint: it's poop).

Oregon Ducks coach Mark Helfrich apparently doesn't look like his team's namesake, but instead looks like "a ninja turtle," and the likeness between Heather Cox's name and that of a potential porn star is pointed out... to which she responds "Not original; I've heard that one a lot."

Tim Tebow is told he's not cute, sexy OR hot. In fact, says twitter user @itsbbaileyy, "He ugly."

Brian Kelly is an "angry leprechaun looking douchebag," Jesse Palmer is an idiot, and FSU coach Jimbo Fisher is an "idiot savant" with "the emphasis on idiot". Chris Fowler, for his part, is simply threatened with a punch in the face.

Muppet-looking muppet Lee Corso apparently "looks like a puppet from Crank Yankers", oh, and Scott Van Pelt still looks like a penis. Kirk Herbstreet, though, might be the "biggest ass clown" we've ever seen.

The best two?

When former Michigan head coach Brady Hoke is told that "Brady Hoke is proof that Fred Flintstone would make a terrible college football coach," (ha!) and the vitriol directed at lovable old crank Lou Holtz, who is told that he looks like a ventriloquist dummy "and sounds like Daffy Duck". Holtz agrees, and to be honest, we do to.
