Tony Danza has revealed that he hits the streets of New York City and threatens people into coming to see his Broadway show, Honeymoon In Vegas. The Who's The Boss star also revealed why he gave up his boxing career, that Speaker of the House John Boehner once serenaded him for his birthday — with a Boehner-specifc borthday song — and that he has his very own birthday rap on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Meyers revealed that Danza likes to go to the TKTS booth in New York City's Times Square and threatens people into seeing his hit Broadway musical. "I just say to 'em 'What are gonna see?'" grinned the star.

Danza then put on a more threatening tone and growled "What are you gonna see? Don't make me say it again," he joked.

It echoes what he told SF Gate, with Danza explaining that "I just walk up. I just convince people. I say, 'Listen, what are you going to do? You come to New York and you see a Disney thing? C'mon! What, are you crazy?'"

He proceeded to tell a story of convincing a family to see Honeymoon In Vegas, even with it's seemingly un-family friendly title, and if it was bad the dad could "call me a bum." Of course, however, the family were delighted and the kids loved it, saying that the show is the sort of things that can "hook kids on musical comedy."

Danza also chatted to Meyers about his boxing career and how he didn't quit tilting after he landed his breakout role in the legendary TV show Taxi.

"I tried to turn my TV cue into a title shot," laughed Danza. "Y'know, I'd get lucky get somebody on the chin, I'd be champion of the world AND have a series. It's a dream. But it didn't work out."

Danza also chatted to Meyers about eating at New York's famed Patsy's restaurant, and being serenaded for his birthday by speaker of the house John Boehner and his family. It turns out that Boehner and his family have their own birthday song, and sang it for Danza... But, as Meyers explains, Danza has his own specific birthday song.

Grinned Danza "Yeah, but mine is a rap..." before breaking into his birthday rap. Watch below to find out just what Danza's birthday song is...
