The site revealed that the show's future was in question back in October, as TV One's D'Angela Proctor, Senior Vice President of Programming & Production, was quiet about the show during comments.
The site claims that TV One's new President, Brad Siegel, didn't acknowledge R&B Divas Atlanta in the new line up when he made his TV Press Tour debut at the Television Critics Association in Los Angeles last week.
The members of the show were reportedly notified that the show had ended earlier this week.
Sources close to the production revealed to the site that is reporting the cancellation that there were a number of issues that had the future of R&B Divas Atlanta uncertain.
Some issues on that list included casting struggles, lower production budget, and more.
Always Alist also adds that:
"There's also litigation surrounding the R&B Divas franchise as well, as former executive producer Nicci Gilbert filed a lawsuit about the network spin-off Hollywood Divas. Supposedly, there could also be additional litigation from the existing executive producers, who were initially told that Hollywood Divas was not a spin-off of "R&B Divas," but then the network released a press announcement calling it a spin-off."
The show began airing in 2012.
Despite this report, there has been no confirmation from the network yet.
"Both R&B Divas series are important to TV One and at this time the network has made no definitive decision as to the future of R&B Divas Atlanta," a rep stated via email.
Besides the sad end to the show, if true, there is one positive out of the news. MStars News has learned that Keke Wyatt is expecting a baby girl this time around with her husband, Michael Ford.
She announced the wonderful news via Facebook over the holidays. "Happy Holidays from my family to yours #itsagirl #godisgood," the singer wrote.
