Bobby Brown Claims He and Whitney Houston Cheated on Each Other: New Edition Singer Says: ''People Make Mistakes'' [VIDEO]

When it comes to Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's love affair, Brown wants the world to know that yes, the couple cheated on each other and "people make mistakes."

Just two before the highly anticipated Whitney Lifetime movie biopic is released, the New Edition singer is telling all about his love life with his late ex-wife, Whitney Houston.

During an interview with Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson, entitled, Bobby Brown: Remembering Whitney, which premieres on Saturday, Brown revealed that there was a lot of infidelity during his marriage to Houston.

"There was infidelity in the marriage, yes, on both parts," Brown admitted. "Both of us cheated on each other - period. So that's hard to swallow for both of us. I just think when two people that love each other as much as we loved each other, when they start drifting apart different people come into the situation, into the scenario, and we make mistakes."

"People make mistakes, we're human." Brown said.

Bobby and Whitney were married back in 1992 and divorced in 2007. The couple had one daughter together, 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, who revealed that she wanted to be a part of the biopic last year.

MStars News previously reported that their was a lot of controversy surrounding the film as Whitney's family didn't want the movie produced.

Director, Angela Bassett, recently appeared on The Wendy Williams show where she admitted to being clueless about Kristina's audition wishes and her first director role.

In regards to Bobby and Whitney's love, Bassett told E! News:

"I just want them to go on the journey between Whitney and Bobby. I considered it a love story...They were there to love and care for one another, and it was quite a journey." the director previously stated. "I think we as fans, audience...those that looked on-we thought we had some say in it. We really didn't have any say in their love affair. The say we have is of ourselves and our capacity to love, to love ourselves, to love one another and to just spread more love and joy in this world."
