Okay, so it's official that John Mayer and Katy Perry are back together. Okay, so he may have been rumored to be involved in a Giada De Laurentiis cheating scandal. That's great, who cares? Let's talk about his upcoming guest hosting gig over on CBS this coming Feb. 4th, 5th and 6th. Mayer will be one of the fill-ins following former host Craig Ferguson's departure and the guitarist is now assuring his Twitter followers that the guests during his time hosting the Late Late Show are "incredible." Actually, he's promising all out "insanity" during his time at CBS.
The Paradise Valley singer will fill in on the Late Late Show before new host James Corden takes over the coveted late night television spot. Along with Mayer will be celebs such as Wayne Brady, Will Arnett, Jim Gaffigan, Sean Hayes, Thomas Lennon and Judd Apatow, among others.
Check out Mayer's exciting tweets about the upcoming gig below:

So, readers, how insane do you think the forthcoming shows are going to be? Perhaps his new girlfriend Katy Perry (kind of new––they've been on and off for quite some time) will make an appearance just after her Super Bowl Halftime Show this coming Feb 1.
And how is Mayer getting ready? Apparently by getting jealous of singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson.
Sturgill Simpson is messing me up right now. Listening jealously. — John Mayer (@JohnMayer) January 18, 2015
