While most of the news surrounding Kristen Stewart is usually about her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, her Twilight fame, and/or more recently some lesbian romance rumors, we're also happy to bring you some movie news in regards to the talented actress. Currently promoting her dramatic films like Still Alice and 2015's Clouds of Sils Maria, the acclaimed star this week opened up about another career path she's interested in: superhero movies! In an interview with Yahoo Movies concerning her new film Still Alice, Stewart revealed that roles bigger blockbuster movies haven't been ruled out in her mind.
"I love watching those movies," the actress told Yahoo Movies, according to Slash Film. "I would love to show people that I can do more than just be 'Kristen Stewart' in a different movie, in a different circumstance. I'm sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean? It would just have to be the right thing."
What kind of comic book movie do you think would "be the right thing" for an actress like Stewart? There are certainly plenty of roles in the DC and Marvel cinematic universes these days, especially with both organizations expanding deeper into their respective literature.
