Diem Brown 'The Challenge' Final Episode Cast Members Pay Tribute - Real World 'Battle Of The Exes' Stars Gush About His Positive Attitude

It has been two months since MTV reality star Diem Brown died and the world is still mourning the devastating loss. That fact has been even more apparent this week as the star's final episode of The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II aired on Tuesday.

Us Weekly caught up with the stars of the series during a press conference for the show last week and the contestants couldn't help but gush about their love for their late co-star.

Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio, who has starred with Diem on previous challenges, had a longtime friendship with Brown and even visited her in the hospital a few days before her passing.

"She's maintained such an optimistic, positive outlook in life," Johnny explained of his friend. "That girl fought until her f---ing last breath."

"She was like, 'I don't want to know what stage I am. I'm gonn f---ing beat this thing,'" Devenanzio explained of what Diem told him before her death. "Just having that optimism when everything looks bleak, dude... It was that mental strength that she had to never give up. She never did, until her last breath."

In a clip posted on Yahoo from last weeks episode, CT rallied the cast members to craft some "get well soon" gifts for Diem after she got sick on the episode. Fellow costars, including Sarah Rice, made letters and drawings for when the star returns to the house.

"Hopefully, it can be like a welcome home present," Sarah explained in the clip.

Nia Moore, a fellow member of the Real World Challenge family, wrote a message to Diem on the craft shoebox saying, "So happy that you are home, beautiful! I know this only made you stronger babe."

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 airs on MTV every Tuesday at 11 pm.
