Steph Curry is better than LeBron James... At least, that's what the voting public for the 2015 NBA All-Star Game believe, with Golden State point guard Curry scoring more votes than Cleveland Cavaliers savior and four-time NBA MVP James. The NBA have announced the Eastern and Western Conference All-Star Game starters, including starry NBA names such as Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Blake Griffin. The 2015 All-Star game takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday Feb. 15.

Suiting up for the West will be Kobe Bryant (L.A. Lakers), Stephen Curry (Golden State), Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), Kia's Blake Griffin (L.A. Clippers) and Marc Gasol (Memphis Grizzlies).
It will also feature brothers as All-Star starters for the first time ever, with Spanish hombres and centers Pau (East) and Marc Gasol (West) both voted in as starters.

The coaches will be Golden State's rookie head coach Steve Kerr (West) and league-leading Atlanta Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer.
But the big surprise is the rise of Steph Curry to the holder of the 'Biggest Vote-Getter' award. As NBA.com's Lang Whitaker reports, due to "a late push" Golden State's point guard Stephen Curry made the Warriors guard the overall leader, with 1,513,324 votes to James' 1,470,483."
And with Kobe Bryant injured, Whitaker reports that Houston Rockets guard James Harden "seems like a lock" to replace the hobbled Lakers legend.
The other big surprise in All Star voting was the rise of Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry (805,290), who was cruelly overlooked last year, but in 2015 took the second guard spot in the Eastern Conference behind John Wall (886,368), placing 15,000+ votes ahead of Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade (789,839) - who he trailed by over 100k votes in the last voting update according to ESPN. Perhaps it was due to the help Lowry received from Drake, Justin Bieber and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper?
Toronto has been killin it and @Klow7 deserves to be an nba all star. Make sure to vote for him. #WeTheNorth. Good luck buddy.

Canadian basketball fans should get behind Kyle Lowry, who deserves to be an NBA All Star. #NBABALLOT #wethenorth @Klow7 — Stephen Harper (@pmharper) January 7, 2015
Curry should also be the favorite to win the NBA MVP for 2015, ahead of Harden and James, says NBA.com's Sekou Smith. "Curry earns the top spot at the season's halfway point by virtue of his outlandish individual season," writes Smith, "including his toppling of LeBron James on the fan vote for next month's All-Star Game, not to mention his being the catalyst for the best team of the season's first half."
It's a sentiment echoed by NBA.com's Stephen Powell, who says "He's off to a strong start and his team leads the West. Those are the right credentials to place yourself in the MVP conversation."
What do you think? Is Curry having a better season than LeBron? Does he deserve to be the No. 1 ranked All Star? Is he the best player in the NBA right now?
