The 2015 NBA All-Star Game has its first tastes of beef, with Steph Curry tackling John Wall in a game of HORSE, and hated rivals from the Golden State Warriors -- Curry and Klay Thompson -- taking on Los Angeles Clippers sharpshooter JJ Reddick in the annual 3-point shooting contest. They'll be joined by Portland Trail Blazers guard Wes Matthews and the historically great Atlanta Hawks small forward Kyle Korver. The Warriors and Clippers have one of the most heated rivalries in the NBA, and the matchup between three of their players makes for a rivalry-fueled, much improved 3-point shootout.

As above, Curry and Washington Wizard point guard Wall will tee-off in 'Game Changer', a "shot for shot competition" according to SB Nation... which sounds suspiciously exactly like a game of HORSE.

As for the 3-point contest, the NBA-leading Atlanta Hawks will be represented by Korver who, as Yahoo! Sports's Adrian Wojnarowski explains, "is leading the NBA in three-point accuracy this season, shooting a surreal 53 percent."

As ESPN report, the contestants "make up five of the top seven shooters in the NBA in 3-pointers made." Matthews is leading the league in made 3-point field goals, while hitting 39.9% of his attempts.

Three-point specialist -- but first-timer shootout participant -- JJ Reddick told reporters Monday night that "It's something that I've always wanted to participate in at least once in my career.

"I don't know if I've been in the conversation but I'm just excited and honored to be a part of All-Star Weekend."

"It's a good field," Redick added. "You have to post a high score this year. I've watched a couple years at home and, um, it's not the best field ... just saying. Not the best field. You have non-shooters winning, but I think the NBA put together a great field this year. Hopefully everybody shoots well and it's a good show."

Curry will be in New York already having been voted into the Western Conference All-Stars as the league-wide highest vote getter -- and Grantland's Zach Lowe believes that Thompson should be there representing the Western Conference as well, once the NBA coaches name the All-Star benches on Jan. 29.

The 3-point shootout contest takes place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday Feb. 14, with the NBA All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday Feb. 15.
