Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show might have blown sports fans away, as she literally turned into a firework during the final number, but it seems there was one person who was not too taken in by the spectacle. The "Dark Horse" singer's boyfriend, John Mayer, seemed to be less than thrilled with the level of success that his on-again/off-again girlfriend has reached since taking to the sports stage last Sunday, Feb. 1.

According to Radar Online, John has expressed his concern over Katy, and is even saying that her newfound level of success is really starting to take its toll on the relationship.

"Katy thinks that he is jealous of her career success and says it is affecting their relationship," an insider explained. "John was there with her during the Super Bowl and has been incredibly supportive, but following the game, her ego has gotten out of hand. She says that he cannot admit that he is jealous and that is the main problem right now."

The site goes on to report that, "John does not have a lot going on right now with his career and she thinks that he is taking it out on her because everything is going so amazing for her right now."

According to HuffPost Canada, Katy is set to perform tonight at the Grammy Awards, where she will take the stage with activist Brooke Axtell to sing her ballad "By the Grace of God." The two will be taking a stand against domestic violence during their performance.

Who knows if tonight's showcase will cause an even bigger riff in Katy's relationship with Mayer.
