Though CBS axed the crime/drama show, A&E will pickup the cancelled Unforgettable show for Season 4. Will Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery) and Al Burns (Dylan Walsh) return to solve cases in the resurrected series? Or will audiences find themselves with a whole new cast?
Unforgettable centers on a mismatched pair of detectives. Montgomery plays Carrie Wells, a female detective who has an extremely rare photographic memory that allows her to recall detailed events by date. Joining her on the homicide cases is her partner, who also happens to be Carrie's ex-boyfriend, NYPD's Al Burns (Walsh).
Deadline states this isn't first time the crime/procedural drama found new life. The CBS series was cancelled and then un-cancelled by the same network. In this particular situation, with the options on the cast expired, new deals had to be made for the cast and crew on the show.
According to TV Line, Montgomery and Walsh are expected to reprise their roles for the upcoming 13-episode run. Series creators John Bellucci and Ed Redlich are also set to return and serve as executive producers, alongside with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.

Joined by The Returned, starting Jeremy Sisto and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, season 3 of Bates Motel will premiere on A&E on the same night, March 9, 2015. The teaser trailers, Peep Hole and Norman/Norma, have been released to promote the premiere date of Bates Motel.
CBS is currently underway with Person of Interest and has recently announced Melissa Benoist and Mehcad Brooks joining the cast of Supergirl. The summer dramas Under The Dome and Extant have be renewed for another reason.
Season 4 of Unforgettable will premiere on A&E sometime in 2015.
