It has been three years today, Wednesday, Feb. 11, since the world said goodbye to singer Whitney Houston, and now the world may have to say goodbye to her only daughter Bobbi Kristina. Houston's death anniversary brings more questions over Bobbi Kristina's coma, and her aunt Leolah Brown hopes Nick Gordon will be charged in the incident.
MStars News has been keeping you updated with all the latest details on Bobbi Kristina's condition after she was found unresponsive in her Georgia home bathtub Jan. 31 by her rumored husband Nick Gordon and a friend.
We have now learned that another family member has come forth to claim that Krissi is "doing better."
According to USA Today, Kristina's aunt, Bobby Brown's sister, said that it ha been hard to see her niece's condition and her family in pain.
During a chat with Atlanta's Fox 5, Brown said:
"I was very numb when I saw her. It's been very, very painful for everybody. Mainly Bobby, because that's his baby."
Brown added that she's "hopeful" about Krissi's health: "There are so many signs showing us that she will be OK. Krissi is fine."
Kristina remains on life support, but the family claims she's starting to open her eyes. "She's opening her eyes. Krissi is doing well right now. She is."
Kristina's incident is now being filed as a criminal investigation as Kristina remains at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, still in a coma, on the day her mother died three years ago at The Beverly Hilton during the 2012 Grammys weekend.
Many reports claimed that Bobbi Kristina was going to be taken off life support the same day her mother died, but the family and Bobby Brown's lawyer claims those stories are false.
Brown said she hopes Gordon is charged for Kristina's injuries.
According to Yahoo, Kristina's aunt said, "I'm not going to make a comment about that, but I believe Nick Gordon will be charged with this. ... I hope that he will be charged with this, as well. Soon. I really do."
