Wenger this week announced that star player Jack Wilshire is ready to play after some time off for injury, but will he start today?
"He's a bit ahead of schedule, he's worked hard and he has had no big problems, so it's good to have him back," the coach said. "My team selection will not be influenced at all by the Champions League. The most important game is Crystal Palace because it is the next one ... I cannot tell you whether he is ready to start, and it's always difficult to come back [into the starting 11] straight away, but it's good he's already back."

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have been rising up the ranks in the EPL, thanks mainly to coach Alan Pardew. When it comes to Arsenal, the manager credits his player Marouane Chamakh, who once player for the Gunners, as a star for Palace.
"I think he's grown in confidence and sometimes only games can do that for you," Pardew told the press this week. "You know he was in and out at Arsenal, it's a difficult club to break through. For players like Cham, sometimes it's best to move away and find yourself and he has found himself and he's an asset to us."
