MStars News has been keeping our readers updated with the latest details in the shooting death of America's Next Top Model contestant, Mirjana Puhar.
We previously reported that the model was killed along with her boyfriend, Jonathan Alvarado, 23, and their roommate, Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, 21. Puhar had just recently moved in with both of the men, after she started dating Alvarado a few months back.
A friend of the dead victims decided to go to the Charlotte, NC residence after receiving a phone call that people heard gunshots Tuesday (Feb. 24).
MStars News also learned that the suspect in the case, Emmanuel Jesus Rangel, was charged with three counts of first degree murder. Rangel was also involved in another homicide on Sunday that happened in nearby Matthews, NC. He was also charged in connection to that shooting that killed 22-year-old Rosool Jaleel Harrell. Harrell was found inside of a car at the Microtel hotel parking lot on Matthew-Mint Hill Road.
Since the death of the ANTM contestant, Tyra Banks, the shows matriarch expressed her sadness in a statement.
"We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic news about Mirjana Puhar. She was a vivacious and promising young woman. Our hearts and prayers go out to her loved ones," Ken Mok and Tyra Banks, the Executive Producers of the hit CW show said.
A number of ANTM contestants, and friends of the model also expressed their shock, and sadness.
Rest in peace our queen @mirjanapuhar

Heaven gained THEE MOST beautiful angel of them all. As I cry writing this, I know she's in a better place. RIP SISTER/ QUEEN MIRJANA — Romeo Barcelona (@RomeoTostado) February 25, 2015
According to the Charlotte Observer, Puhar began her modeling career at the age of 12, dropped out of high school at 16, started working at McDonalds before ending up on ANTM.
"I was a wild child," Puhar said. "I went out, had fun, partied, whatever — I didn’t really have the best influences around me."
She also said: "I don't want people dabbling in my personal life, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna do that after seeing the show. Once you watch the show, and you see what they get into, and what I speak about ... then I'm pretty sure they're gonna try to get into (my past)."
How ironic, because in the photo above, Puhar wrote on Instagram: "our time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life."
Here's a throwback of Mirjana's plea to the judges to be a part of the Top Model show.
