While Bones is currently on hiatus, plans are already underway for the return of season 10 on FOX. Will past failures come back to haunt Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) as the birthday of their departed friend, Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) arrives?
As we previously mentioned, the Jeffersonian team lost a longtime member, while welcoming a new addition at the same time. The tenth season premiere started with a major shocker as Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) met a horrible death while trying to clear Booth's name. The mourning period began with Sweets' funeral and the introduction to his successor, FBI Agent James Aubrey (John Boyd).
We also mentioned, the Jeffersonian team had to face the harsh truth that Lance wasn't there for the birth of his son, Seeley Lance Wick-Sweets. Unfortunately, Daisy Wick (Carla Gallo) will have to raise their child as a single mother.
According to TV Line, Lance's death will continue to play a pivotal role in the season. "Bones resumes its season on March 26, with an episode that features an old tree with an icky-gooey dead human center. Sweets' birthday looms large throughout the hour, a fact not lost on Avalon Harmonia - though at least one Jeffersonian staffer wants to hear none of her psychic ramblings."
The episode will also feature someone in the Jeffersonian team quitting their job. Brennan will test Booth's patience as she compares the sacrament of Holy Communion to Christine's tea party with an imaginary friend.

We mentioned before, '70s actress Linda Lavin will appear in the episode "The Verdict in the Victims." Lavin's character will be approached by Booth and Brennan, who have to stop an imminent execution after they discover the condemned killer is actually innocent.
Bones returns Thursday, March 26 at 8pm on Fox.
Readers, are you excited to see the show back in March?
