Though The Flash is currently on hiatus, the CW network is currently working on plans for the show's return. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) be able to save Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) when The Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) returns to "seek revenge" for the death of his brother?
In our first recap, Barry (Gustin) discovered he had super-speed powers after he was struck by lightning. As the scarlet speedster, Barry rushed in to save Joe West from Clyde Mardon, the first Weather Wizard. After stoping the metahuman's tornado, Barry was too weak to continue the fight, which left Joe to take on Clyde and shoot him down.
In our recent recap, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) explained his theory of time-travel to Barry. There is a hole in the time continuum, but Barry believes he is destined to fail his mother on the night of her murder by the Reverse Flash. After rescuing Firestorm (Robbie Amell) from General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown), Barry realized he has a chance to change things if he's meant to go back in time.
According to Comic Book, the first episode back from hiatus will be Out of Time. It seems Mark Mardon, the second Weather Wizard (McIntyre), was also in the helicopter when it was struck by the particle accelerator explosion. Mark has resurfaced in Central City to avenge his brother's death by hunting down the men responsible.

In the comics, we do know the Weather Wizard joins the super villain team, The Rogues. It would be interesting to see Weather Wizard standing beside Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell). As we previously mentioned, we're not sure if McIntyre will reprise his role along with Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) in the newly announced Arrow/The Flash spinoff.
