There is good casting news today in the 90210. While casting news for RHOBH doesn't usually come until a few months after the reunion special airs, it looks like two of the show's newbies have gotten the golden pass for Season 6. Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson have just been approached by producers who have invited them to appear on the next season of the show -- the only thing the soap stars have to do now is decide if they want to accept.
The ladies have definitely given viewers what they've wanted, as they have brought the laughs as well as the drama to the series. In our opinion, they have breathed new life into the series, and it's felt like they have been with the show since the beginning.
It appears Bravo felt the same way about the long-running series, as it was being reported that it was thinking of canceling prior to Lisa and Eileen's arrival, according to Radar Online.
"Before the ladies joined the cast, there was serious doubt about whether or not the show would proceed," an insider explained. "It had just reached the point where Bravo was just going to cut it, but everyone is so glad that didn't happen."
But it seems like Lisa and Eileen swooped in just in time to save the series.
"Producers of the show were very, very happy with Lisa and Eileen's performances in front of the camera," a source explained to the website. "They balanced each other out. Lisa is a bit more aggressive, with no-frills, take-no-prisoners attitude. Eileen is refined, elegant and all class, which made her scenes with Kim Richards even stronger because she did snap a couple of times."
But if the ladies are going to say yes to the offer, that's a different story, according to The Inquistr. Lisa will most likely say yes to doing the show another time, while Eileen will have to see how it fits in with her commitment to The Young & The Restless.
No word yet on the other women's involvement in the show.
