Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon has entered rehab. As Bobbi Kristina lay in a coma on life support in an Atlanta hospital, Nick Gordon's family staged an intervention with the help of Dr. Phil. According to a press release, Dr. Phil host Dr. Phil McGraw offered Gordon "the treatment he appears to so desperately need as he battles drug and alcohol addiction."
A source close to the Brown family said that Gordon is "very distraught" over everything that has happened with Bobbi Kristina: "He really wants to see her. He is upset about a lot of things: her being sick, him never getting respect [from her family]."
His mother Michelle said that "he won't let go of the guilt."
According to sources, Gordon has been experiencing "severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks" ever since finding Bobbi Kristina unconscious in a bathtub Jan. 31.
He has since been banned from the hospital and, according to Bobbi Kristina's aunt Leolah Brown, is under investigation for his alleged role in the incident.
"With all due respect, Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my neice Bobbi Kristina Brown," she posted on her Facebook account in a message addressed to Phil McGraw.
"We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit.
"If Nick Gordon does not have the courage to speak with my brother Bobby Brown and/or law enforcement about what happened the day my niece's body was found in a bathtub, he does not deserve to have a platform to speak to anyone of your caliber until this investigation is concluded."
The Daily Mail reported that police were not immediately able to comment on the attempted murder allegations.
But the fact remains that Gordon has had a tough time dealing with the tragedy, even going so far as sharing his suicidal thoughts on social media:
I'm so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to strong

TMZ reported that Gordon was so high and drunk during the taping that "he couldn't even walk and was pushed around on a luggage cart."
The intervention episode Dr. Phil premieres March 11 on Fox.
