Tuesday night, March 10, was a time to reflect for the Duggars, as Michelle Duggar took fans back to her high school days. During the 19 Kids & Counting episode, Michelle revealed to fans that she suffered from an eating disorder when she was a teenager. Michelle revealed that she would make herself sick after eating, which is also referred to as bulimia.

"Before I came to know the Lord, I had been, um, struggling in my self-worth," she said in the clip below. "Just feeling like, you know, I needed to measure up to all my friends. And I just really began to have a wrong view of who I was and felt like, you know, I gained weight so easily."

Besides remembering the negative past, Michelle and her husband Jim Bob also talked about the positive, even sharing some of their photos together.

When Michelle became sick with her eating disorder, she said, "I ended up starting a bad habit of making myself get sick after I ate," adding, "As I was in that process, no one knew."

During the episode, one of Michelle's closets friends, Cindy, met up with the mother of 19 as the ladies work out together in a gym.

"It is such a joy to have a friend that you know loves you," Michelle noted.

The two ladies text every morning to encourage each other to exercise.

"It is such a joy to have a friend that you know loves you," Michelle revealed.

"I think all girls struggle with the same body issues," she continued in video. "The struggle is always going to be there."

"Life's too short to never have a chocolate chip cookie," Duggar said. "But you have to be wise in doing that."
