'Secret Wars Prelude' TPB: Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange Arrives For Marvel's Biggest Event!

Before Benedict Cumberbatch plays him on the big screen, Doctor Strange will become involved in the biggest Marvel Comics event ever. Strange joins Namor, Beast, Black Bolt, and Iron Man as they try to stop the Marvel Universes from colliding in Secret Wars Prelude TPB.

As we previously mentioned, Secret Wars features the Marvel superheroes from alternate realities coming together to meet in an epic standoff. The Marvel's superheroes and super-villains will be forced to defend themselves for the survival of their universe. There will be no Marvel Universe, no Ultimate Universe, or any other, just Battleworld.

According to the release, the conclusion to the original 1984 Secret Wars may have to do with the Secret Wars of today. What secrets lie in the Illuminati's discovery of the Incursions? What threats lie in a universe created by Doctor Doom? In order to discover the answer, the Ultimates may have to face a foe more powerful than the gods - and Reed Richards is its leader. With his own series coming to end,  readers will also discover what role Miles Morales, the Ultimate Spider-Man, will have in Marvel's comic book event.
