The Flash returned from hiatus on the CW network with an all-new episode. As The Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) went up against Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Twitter had lots to say as viewers watched the shocking confrontation between Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).
In our previous recap, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) explained his theory of time-travel to Barry Allen. There is a hole in the time continuum, but Barry believes he is destined to fail his mother on the night of her murder by the Reverse-Flash. After rescuing Firestorm (Robbie Amell) from General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown), Barry realized he has a chance to change things if he's meant to go back in time.
In our recent recap, while the Weather Wizard kidnapped Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Cisco discovered revisited the scene when he first met the Reverse-Flash, discovering a holographic projection. With the truth out in the open, Wells revealed his real name is Eobard Thawne, a distant relative of Eddie. Though Eobard thought of Cisco as a son, he still had to kill him. With Cisco lying dead on the floor, the Flash found himself running backwards in time.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg describes Cisco's "final" scene, " "We didn't even script that he cries, and that notion-that Tom and Carlos worked out-that the minute Tom walks in the room, Carlos knows he's going to die. I get chills just thinking about it."

Kreisberg adds, "Part of the fun of [episode] 16 is watching when time changes how certain events differ that prevent Cisco from following the same trajectory, and watching how things play out, but in a completely different way."
Check out what Twitter had to say:
