Kate Gosselin has a mother of a court case on her hands. The Kate Plus 8 star has just been accused of abusing her children in reports filed by her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. The reports are claiming that the TLC reality star has taken to spanking and hitting her kids, and Jon has found out after giving one of her daughters a bath and finding red welts on her body. The reports might have been filed in 2010, but they are just making their way to light today, March 19. With her parenting style exposed, Jon is seeking full custody.

Radar Online obtained the report that Jon filed with the Berks County, Pennsylvania, civil court in October 2010, where he explained that he suspected Kate of hitting their 5-year-old daughter Leah so hard that she left marks on the child's body.

"On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, while bathing Leah, Father found large red welt on her rear end," the reports claimed. "Later explained that it was from Mother, after Leah bit Hannah ... Several children have come forward to Father complaining that they get hurt when Mother spanks them."

The reports were filed a year after the pair announced that they would be getting divorced.

"While Father would prefer that Mother not physically discipline the children, if Mother is going to do so, she should not do so to the point of leaving marks on the children," the reports added.

According to Life & Style, the claims might have been filed more than five years ago, but it seems the custody battle for the couple's eight children is something that is still up for dispute, as Jon wants to be in full control of them.

"[Jon] would love to take her to court and get total custody of the kids," an insider explained to the site. "He'll do whatever it takes."
