Speaking with Australian News this week (via Slash Film), Abrams spoke about the possibility of spoilers and rumors already being confirmed true, but he hopes the film still holds up as an experience in December 2015.
"The level of scrutiny is pretty much unprecedented for me," the acclaimed director explained. "My dream is that, despite so many rumors - many of which are true, many of which are untrue - when people see the movie, they see something that hasn't been completely ruined for them by having read spoilers they might not have wanted to read."

Meanwhile, one of the most talked-about characters that debuted in the 2014 teaser trailer for the film is Kylo Ren, whose name was revealed in a special character card shortly after the trailer's debut. Rumors are suggesting that, aside from the black cloak and the haphazard lightsaber, Ren also sports a metallic mask of sorts. This hasn't been confirmed, but leaked concept art and more reports suggest it could be true.
This week, though, an alleged early concept description of Kylo Ren suggests that the mask wasn't always a feature of the character. Check out this character description right here!
