The March 25, 2015 edition of WWE's NXT will air on the WWE Network tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern, and the developmental brand returns to Full Sail University for an NXT Championship match between champion Kevin Owens and No. 1 Contender Finn Balor.
Balor won the right to face the champion at Takeover: Rival last month, the same event at which Owens demolished Sami Zayn to win the title by referee stoppage. Owens has been in a mini-feud with Alex Riley since then, while Balor has waited in the wings for his guaranteed title shot. Tonight, the artist formerly known as Prince Devitt gets that chance. Will he be able to stop Owens in his tracks and take the belt?
NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks will once again take on Alexa Bliss tonight as the latter continues her quest for revenge against the woman who broke her nose. Becky Lynch and Bayley are still in the picture, and Charlotte has a legitimate gripe because Banks used the ropes for leverage to retain her title against the former champion.
Finally, WWE has announced that Dana Brooke will make her debut tonight.
As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action. But for now, let us know your thoughts, opinions, guesses, and predictions for tonight's show in the comments section.
In case you missed it, here are the results of last week's show from The Arnold Sports Festival at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio, the first NXT show at somewhere other than Full Sail University.
The first match pits Tyler Breeze against Kalisto, and Prince Pretty earns the win when he counters Salida del Sol with the Beauty Shot.
A video package airs for the match between Kevin Owens and Alex Riley later tonight.
Footage airs from the Arnold Sports Festival, including Arnold Schwarzenegger putting over Triple H and his career, as well as Triple H's induction speech into the Hall of Fame.
Enzo Amore, Big Cass, and Carmella come out and do their usual routine. Big Cass cuts a promo about the Arnold Classic and lifting weights and then takes a shot at Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy. He makes fun of "the Australian one" too.
Blake gets the win over Cass with a roll up when Carmella distracts him.
Alexa Bliss defeats NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks by count out when she throws the champ off the ring post and slides back into the ring to beat the count of 10.
The two women then argue backstage with General Manager William Regal, who books a title match between them for next week.
Owens cuts a promo about Alex Riley and calls him stupid for giving up his easy job as a commentator just to come in the ring tonight and get slaughtered. He says he will then beat Finn Balor and continue his reign as the most dominant champion in NXT and WWE.
The NXT Champion wins the match with the pop-up powerbomb. He celebrates his victory and then attacks Riley. He tries to powerbomb him on the apron, but Balor comes out and stares down Owens. The No. 1 Contender dives off the entrance set with a forearm and the two men brawl into the ring. Balor hits a dropkick and sets up for the double foot stomp, but Owens hustles out of the ring and heads up the ramp. The two men stare each other down as the show goes off the air.
