Zayn Malik Quits One Direction [2015 Break Up Rumors] Twitter Reacts To Perrie Edwards' Fiance Leaving 1D - Boy Band Posts Facebook Message To Fans

Zayn Malik has officially quit the biggest boy band in the world, One Direction. Announced on Facebook this week and quickly spreading around Twitter and other social media platforms, the news has already caused sadness within the millions of fans of 1D. This news comes just about a week after Malik cut short his time performing on the group's 2015 "On The Road Again" world tour due to stress. Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan have decided to stay together as a four-piece, despite mounting break up rumors.

"My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined," Zayn said this week, according to a post on the boy band's official Facebook page (via The Huffington Post). "But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologize to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world."
