Girl power! Get ready 80s babies, your favorite girl group may be uniting soon. Former Spice Girl member Emma Bunton gave a very hopeful interview in Now Magazine, hinting that the group may be reuniting for its 20 year anniversary.

She said that she recently hung out with former band mates Geri Halliwell and Mel B. and they all discussed a possible reunion.

"We love each other and we love performing together," said Bunton. "It's just when the timing is right because we all have our own careers now and we have families, it's just about getting five schedules together and that's all it is," she added.

Here's hoping that the three of them can get Victoria Beckham and Mel Chisholm on board for the reunion!

The Spice Girls first gained international fame in 1996 when they released their smash hit, "Wannabe" and made "girl power" a pop culture phenomenon. They toured as a five-person group until Geri left in 1998. The remaining four continued making music until they all parted ways in 2000. Seven years later, they reunited for a world tour, but broke up again a year later. They haven't performed together since 2012, when all five reunited to perform a mash-up of hits "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life" for the Summer Olympics.

Halliwell recently spoke out in support of One Direction member Zayn Malik's decision to leave his group. "Hello, thinking of you." Hope whatever is going on in your life it's going well," she Tweeted after Zayn's news broke. The tweet seemed to be aimed at Zayn, who quit One Direction so he could "be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."

Halliwell famously made an untimely exit from The Spice Girls in 1998 when the group was at the height of their popularity. The group had moderate success after her departure, but they broke up shortly afterwards.
