Mariah Carey And Nicki Minaj Beef: Carey No Longer Scared Of Co-Host, But Fears Ex-Husband's, Tommy Mottola's Memoir

Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj's beef was being diffused at an American Idol photo shoot thanks to a live prop in between them- Ryan Seacrest. After their big blow out fight went viral, the singer beefed up security because she heard that Minaj was sending her death threats. One person on set said that the heard Minaj say, "If I had a gun I would shoot the b***h."

Minaj denies threatening the singer with a gun and American Idol producer, Nigel Lythgoe told TMZ, "The statement [that Nicki made a death threat] is absolute rubbish.  It's absolutely not true in any way, shape or form."

While trying to get over her American Idol feud, Carey's past seems to be bringing out some skeletons just in time for Halloween. Carey's ex-husband, Tommy Mottola is planning on releasing a tell all book about his five-year- marriage to the "Honey" singer. Some believe that the former head of Sony Music is out for revenge after the singer went public about their marriage in 1998. Carey told reporters about feeling trap in her marriage to Mottola saying, "I longed for someone to come kidnap me."

According to an In Touch magazine source, "She should be nervous. The book will expose Mariah's kooky habits and outrageous diva demands."

Another source claims, "Everything in the book will be truthful. It will be embarrassing to Mariah."
