What happens when you cast a recognizable, yet relatively smaller-name actor in a huge blockbuster sequel, and then said actor wins the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor? The studio obviously makes a TV spot, brief new movie trailer with that actor in focus! That's exactly what's happening in the latest trailer for Terminator Genisys, with costar J.K. Simmons. As we can see in this new footage, Simmons has an important role that could actually end up being cut short by the menacing robot from the future! Also featuring stars Emilia Clarke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke, this new trailer is full of great footage of the 2015 movie. Watch it below!

We previously reported on some plot details revealed by Simmons a few months back, but since then, we've basically forgotten the actor was set to appear in the Alan Taylor film. Luckily for us, it looks like his role of Detective O'Brien, according to Yahoo, is pretty important. Plus he looks like the comic relief of the movie, giving us even more reason to watch the blockbuster this summer!
