Believe it or not, sometimes even liberals are wrong. Don't worry – if you don't want to admit it, comedian Bill Maher did that for you this past Friday night on HBO's Real Time. After Dolce & Gabbana released some rather unflattering comments about gay adoption, in which they called children adopted by gay parents as "synthetic children," the world of liberals went ballistic. Which, of course, makes sense to some degree, as the fashion designers' comments were incredibly uncaring––despite being gay men. But Maher's argument here is why fight so much with someone who agrees with you on most other issues. But even that wasn't enough to please musician Elton John, who called for a boycott against the designers.
And well, Maher had some comments about that.
"For folks who take such pride in their love for diversity," Maher says, "liberal's increasingly seem to tolerate none in their own ranks."
He further noted that he in no way agrees with Dolce & Gabbana's comments, but asked why attack people "who are 95% on your side?"
Yes, their comments were distasteful, but Maher claims that the liberals of the world went too far with their "fake outrage."
"Dame Elton John was the angriest of all..."
Check out the comedian's comments on the Dolce & Gabbana controversy here:
Dolce&Gabbana are from Sicily, the same place Scalia comes from. If you want to protest someone who doesn't support gays, start with him.

The above story comes after Maher took issue with college fraternities last week as a result of the horrific racist chant made by the University of Oklahoma's SAE fraternity.
