Tasha Smith is probably asking herself, Why Did I Get Married? after a judge ordered her to pay her ex-husband, and former manager Keith Douglas.
According to Madame Noire, Smith has to pay Douglas $7000 a month in spousal support. MStars News previously learned that the actress already paid her ex $50,000 in 2014. Smith had to pay her estranged husband because she is reportedly the money maker of the household.
Now it seems that those payments will be continuing until further notice. MStars News previously reported that the couple decided to call it quits when Douglas filed a restraining order against Smith, as she filed one against him.
Douglas claimed that his wife had threatened him numerous times, as Tasha claimed that her ex threatened to kill her after accusing her of cheating. "When he's in a rage, I feel that he is capable of killing me," Smith previously stated.
In the settlement, Smith will gain possession of the family Mercedes back. This couple isn't keeping their vows, For Better or For Worse.
In a interview a couple of months back Smith spoke with Wendy of the The Wendy Williams about kids. When Williams reminded fans of Tasha that she "desperately wanted to have a baby" with her husband, Smith said: "We are still trying to have a baby. We are having sex all the time, as a matter of fact we just got done."
Smith added, "I'm ovulating. Seriously I'm trying to get pregnant and if it doesn't happen this time, will you carry for me?" Smith asked Wendy Williams.
When it comes to adoption, the 43-year-old said: "I would rather do surrogate before adopting. If I can't do it, I'd rather find someone who would do it for me."
The couple doesn't have any children together.
