Johnny Depp and his new musical pal, Grammy nominated songwriter Ryan Adams are apparently such good friends that the actor set up the "Gimme Something Good" singer with his new sister-in-law. Depp's 28-year-old wife, Amber Heard has a close relationship with her younger sister, Whitney Heard, and apparently they now have a great reason to hang out on double dates with their older men! It is a little curious to get this news on April Fools Day, but do you think this dating rumor is true?

According to People, a source has informed the celebrity news site that the 40-year-old musician and his new girlfriend started dating earlier this year (via Defamer). Back in January, Adams teamed up with Depp, 51, on some recordings that they later released, so we're assuming that's when the two were set up. You can listen to the No Shadow EP right here!

The age difference is a main focus for numerous websites covering this rumor, but Depp and Amber seem happy, so let's try not judge too much, people!

Meanwhile, the same report goes on to explain that a representative of Ryan's has slammed this rumor, explaining, "It's totally not true. Not a shred of truth to this rumor," so take that however you'd like!
