MStars News has learned that well-known celebrity dermatologist Dr. Fredric Brandt, 65, was found dead at home by his housekeeper over the weekend in Miami, Florida.

According to E!, Brandt died from an apparent suicide, the Miami Police Department confirmed. Brandt was known as the "Baron of Botox," after he used Botox and fillers on his A-list clients, including Madonna, Kelly Ripa and many more. The death of Brandt was revealed by his publicist Jacquie Trachtenberg in a statement that read: "He passed away this morning. He was suffering from an illness. Everyone who knows him is devastated. I worked with him for over 20 years and he was an amazing man, not only was he a brilliant doctor, but he was the kindest human being." Brandt could charge up to $7,000 for a full treatment, but once said himself that he wouldn't use as much Botox as he had in the past. "I've been kind of a pioneer in pushing the limits to see how things work and what the look would be," he said. "Would I change anything I've done? I might not have used as much Botox, because you don't want to look quite as frozen." The bachelor who lived alone once said his mission was "to keep people working and feeling vital and good about themselves." Lesley Abravanel, a reporter for the Miami Herald, revealed that the doctor was having issues with depression lately. Abravanel tweeted: "Sources: Dr. Fredric Brandt was 'devastated' over comparisons to the protagonist on Tina Fey's new Netflix show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."

In the show, Martin Short plays the character of  Dr. Grant (pronounced "Franff"), a plastic surgeon, and the similar looks probably does have viewers wondering if the parody is truly about Dr. Brandt.
