Rihanna performed for SNL with her hit new single "Diamonds" from latest album "Unapologetic." The evening was hosted by actress and "Les Miserables" star, Anne Hathaway.

The Pop star rocked the stage with a live band and a green screen with a disco era feel. Rihanna's band sported black and white as the singer dressed down in a camouflage dress and jacket with tan timberland boots. Her military style didn't mesh well with her "Diamonds" single, but the vocalist sung the song with so much feeling. The new single truly has deep meaning behind it to the pop star, "It was the right powerful record," she told MTV. "It was hopeful. It was also different from what people are used to hearing from me. It was a song that meant something, and that's the whole theme throughout the album."

The singer held her album release party at Manhattan's 40/40 club, inviting the media and fans to come listen to brand new tracks off her album, "Unapologetic." Rihanna also invited guest to bring donations for Hurricane Sandy victims, which she donated 1,000 sleeping bags early this week. The album has guest appearances from artist such as, Eminem, Future, Mikky Ekko, and Chris Brown. On a track called "Nobody's Business" the couple duet about still being in love with each other and telling people to stay out of their personal business, "I think a lot of people are afraid of being happy because of what others might think of it," she says in the MTV interview. "They're afraid to embrace that and embrace themselves and love themselves and do what they love and do what makes them happy ... My story is definitely going to be a happily ever after, no matter what."
