Looks like Chris Brown will be in the States for New Years Eve. "MStars News" has learned that the singer canceled his performance in the Philippines at the last minute after he couldn't find his passport. Now we all know what you're thinking: Why didn't he plan ahead and get a new one? But according to Page Six, Breezy lost his passport one day before he was supposed to be traveling out of the country. The concert promoters, Maligaya Development Corp., revealed that Brown's reps informed them Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 31, that he was still in the U.S. "According to them, Chris Brown lost his passport the day before the scheduled event," the official statement read. "Hence despite having entered into a contract with us, Chris Brown would not be able to comply with his obligation to perform." Brown was scheduled to perform with other musical artists at a Philippine arena in the New Year's Eve concert that is scheduled to have fireworks on display when the clock strikes midnight. One Direction, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Iggy Azalea came out the big winners of the 2014 American Music Awards. One Direction and Katy Perry won the most awards with three, while Taylor Swift took home the Dick Clark Award for Excellence. The "Shake It Off" singer, who has sold more than 2 million copies of her latest album "1989" in less than a month, opened the show with her newest hit "Blank Space." She just became the first woman in Billboard Hot 100 singles history to replace herself at No. 1. The pop superstar steered clear of her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles. Alicia Keys closed out the 2014 MTV EMA with a performance of her thought-provoking, political new track "We Are Here," which was nominated for Best Song With A Message on Sunday, Nov. 9. Her EMA performance wasn't set inside The SSE Hydro, like earlier sets in the night had been, instead she was broadcast from the nearby O2 Academy in Glasgow, which gave the performance an intimate feel. Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keyes and Ariana Grande were among the performers at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on Sunday (Nov. 9). Winners included One Direction, Five Seconds of Summer, Minaj, Grande, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber among others. Ozzy Osbourne was honored with the global icon award. According to CNN, Minaj went through multiple outfit changes during the event. Among other things, she wore a white custom made by Roberto Cavalli.
