Stephen Hawking Sings Monty Python “Galaxy Song” Following Eddie Redmayne ‘Theory of Everything’ Oscar Win

Okay, so it's not really singing, but it's as close as physicist Stephen Hawking can get. The famed Theory of Everything inspiration – which led actor Eddie Redmayne to his first Oscar win – recently cracked the Internet by being spotted in a parody video in which he sings the lyrics to iconic comedy troupe Monty Python's "Galaxy Song." The video comes after Hawking was heard on Pink Floyd's The Endless River album.

So, while it's great to hear collaborations from some of your favorite artists of all time, no matter the genre, perhaps its hard to beat out Stephen Hawking appearing (or just doing some rework) on your track.

The original "Galaxy Song" was released back in 1983 for the Python's film the Meaning of Life.

It's been quite a year for Hawking, as his story was outlined in the 2014 film The Theory of Everything, which starred actor Eddie Redmayne playing him and Felicity Jones portraying the scientist's first wife, Jane Hawking.
