'Halo 5: Guardians' Trailer, Multiplayer Specials [WATCH] Spartan Locke Hunts Master Chief in 2015 Gameplay Footage, Pre-Order DLC Detailed

Halo 5: Guardians has a release date set for Oct. 27, 2015, which means we have plenty of time to get excited about the upcoming story and multiplayer gameplay we're going to experience this year. In fact, just this week, we were treated to a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated Xbox One exclusive video game, featuring the Spartan character Locke, who is hunting down Master Chief in the title. Along with this trailer, we've learned that gamers that pre-order the game can get some great DLC skins for the multiplayer mode!

In this great new trailer, you get to see Locke in action as he continues his hunt to find Master Chief. This character is definitely not someone you want to mess with, as some find out in the footage below. This new footage comes from Gamespot, in a new exclusive promotion between Xbox and the gaming store.

"In an exclusive GameStop trailer released today, the UNSC's elite manhunter - Spartan Locke - rips through Covenant opposition while in pursuit of the legendary Master Chief," Xbox wrote in a news update this week. "Featuring new and classic weapons, a host of brand-new Spartan abilities that completely transform the way you engage enemies, and more, Halo 5: Guardiansmarks the greatest evolution in franchise history."

According to the official Xbox website, those who pre-order this game through Gamespot will get access to the Hunter-class armor that Locke is sporting in this new trailer. This DLC includes:

HUNTER-Class Armor: Sophisticated and lethal, HUNTER-class armor incorporates Watershed Division's latest warfighting technology.

HUNTER-Class Helmet: Though still considered a prototype implementation, the HUNTER's sensor suite enhances situational and threat awareness.
